We have read a lot of interesting ideas on what the workplace might look like post COVID-19. If we can be certain of anything it’s that there is no certainty in what it will look like. As designers, we are by nature problem solvers. Every organization is facing unique challenges on how to navigate their business and their people through this moment in time. The combination of workplace design thinking and virtual technology will be a powerful tool to help Building Owners and organizations to re-imagine their workplace.
We are sharing a ‘virtual’ project that we embarked upon with GPT with a collaborative approach combining the insights of the building owner, leasing teams and our workplace experience, to assist in securing a new tenant for an existing fitout within 111 Eagle Street. Through workplace design, in combination with 3D renders, fly-throughs and panoramic views (VR goggles optional) we were able to show the possible transformation of an existing floor, utilizing some of the existing elements, at a much lower cost than physical construction of the works. Due to its virtual nature, we had the flexibility to quickly change and customise the scheme to respond to each prospective tenant, supporting the leasing team to secure a tenant.
