Outline Design Office is an interior design practice based in Brisbane, Australia, founded by Sally Macnaughton and Jacinta Condon, long time colleagues and collaborators, who believe that design can transform places and organisations, elevate our happiness and take average to exceptional.

Our unique offering includes specialist services created and delivered by senior, highly experienced Interior Designers who remain engaged in the project from beginning to end; working on standalone projects or in conjunction with architects and consultants to deliver exceptional design outcomes.  

With a deep commitment to both clients and our craft, the range and number of projects that we take on at any one time ensures that all projects receive the attention and service promised.   We are by nature collaborators; we listen and seek to understand what is unique about our clients, working with them to create innovative spaces and experiences. We are curious and stay abreast of the changes in culture and technology that impact on how we live and use space.  We believe the process of designing a new environment should include equal parts joy and rigor.   We want to create beautiful, functional, desirable spaces for people to work, connect, revive and enjoy.

Outline Design Office was created to provide a new offering to the market.  We believe the attention and involvement of senior design professionals in all projects and working with like-minded consultants and collaborators will result in fresh, innovative and exceptional design outcomes.

Our studio and approach is truly flexible.  We seek to live and breathe the flexible workstyle that so many of our clients are embracing.   We believe the changing nature of work and our multi-layered lives require new design solutions.  Our collaborative process of workshopping, concept creation, questioning and resolution / evolution enables our clients and the wider consultant team to be part of the design process from commencement to completion. 

Our clients and the consultant team can work within our space or we can become part of a specialist team of consultants.  We have the flexibility and the ability to be part of new ways of working and models of delivery. 

SALLY MACNAUGHTON

Sally has built a strong reputation over almost two decades of working for some of Australia’s leading Architectural and Interior Design practices across a wide range sectors including workplace, education, hotels, residential and retail; designing and delivering projects across a wide range of value and complexity.    

She brings cross-sector thinking to create places that interweave lifestyle, innovation and global trends.  Sally’s ability to engage with clients at all levels ensures that critical information is captured and distilled to drive unique project objectives.  Sally uses design as a catalyst for change, brand communication, improved productivity and joy. 

JACINTA CONDON

Jacinta is a passionate design professional whose career has been shaped by experience working in Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom.  She has led and worked on a diverse range of projects across numerous sectors, with extensive experience in all areas of project delivery from client briefing through to practical completion.  Her key focus is to involve clients throughout the entire project, allowing them to shape outcomes and be a true partner in the design process. 

She has an astute focus on translating a client brief or workplace strategy into a living, breathing environment, recognising the power the built environment has on how people live, work and connect.

Rianna is a confident Interior Designer with a range of experience across a number of sectors, including multi-residential, workplace, hospitality and education projects.

Rianna is enthusiastic about designing innovative and meaningful spaces through built form, detailing and materiality. She has strong skills in both documentation and visualisation, as well as a passion for branding and product design. This enables her to deliver a final package which speaks to all the clients needs.

Rianna assists the team in communicating design ideas and then documents the confirmed scope into a cohesive set of drawings for delivery.
